LR730T – NEW 0.5mm Millimeter Receiver with Auto Grade Match

Introducing our brand new RedBack Lasers Millimetre LR730T Receiver – The LR730T is our toughest built Millimeter Display Receiver to date, suitable for both RED and GREEN rotating laser levels.  The standout feature of the LR730 is the millimeter display which can show readings as precise as +/- 0.5mm, a first for RedBack Lasers. The receiver itself has an extended 120mm laser reception sensor window, dual LCD back lit displays and three LED displays. This receiver is has a automatic tracking feature utilising radio communication with RedBack’s Grade Match Tracking Lasers.  The tracking feature will only work with the following RedBack Models; EL614GM, EGL624GM, GREEN624GM and DGL1010GM.

Auto Grade Match is one of the fastest and most effective ways of automatically setting a grade or alignment as a one man operator. The LR730T Receiver has this function in built, and will communicate with the lasers listed above in order to get the laser to tilt and move to find the position of the receiver (the lasers will tilt in one direction), and will lock in on it’s position with the push of one button. This is commonly used in Fencing, Plumbing, Earthmoving, Agricultural applications but is also suitable for Raked Ceilings & Suspended Ceilings indoors as well. The Auto Grade Match feature with this receiver has an approximate radius of 50m that it will work within.

The RedBack LR730T can provide a 0.5 or 1 millimetre reading of up to 40mm above and 40mm below the level point and counts down the millimeters as you get closer to the level.  You can also set a custom zero-point based on the existing position of the laser beam if you wish.

The LR730T has 4 accuracy settings for level +/-0.5mm, 1mm, 5mm and 9mm level bands.  The LR730T comes with a BRAND NEW heavy-duty cast metal staff clamp (SBPro) and also has magnets built into the casing for mounting on steelwork etc.

One of the biggest advantages of this Millimeter Receiver over a standard one is when performing coarse levelling tasks.  For example, If all you need is to be within 20mm (+/- 10mm) of level then just keep an eye on the reading and make sure it never hits 11mm either above or below. This allows your onsite workflow to be much more efficient than having to constantly find the exact level mark on most conventional receivers.

The LR730T millimetre detector is powered by 2 x “AA” batteries, we include a rechargeable set and charger pack & cable when you purchase this receiver. Do not attempt to recharge normal batteries in this charger pack.

This Receiver is most commonly used to detect Horizontal Beams (Level), but can also be used on it’s side to detect Vertically traced Rotating Laser lines as well (for use with Lasers that can be used Vertically for Alignment). Instead of detecting up and down, the Receiver with give readings of Left & Right, and with the same mm accuracy settings as listed above. This is commonly used for Fencing, Alignment or Set-out applications.

The RedBack LR730T is suitable for most visible rotating lasers and picks up both Red & Green. Suitable on both Class 2 & 3 Rotating Lasers.

Rotating Lasers are most commonly used outdoors for longer range applications like Building, Fencing, Concreting, Landscaping and more. The LR730T is the ideal receiver for outdoor work with a RedBack Auto Grade Match Rotating Laser, but can also be suitable for indoor applications like Tiling, Alignment, Fit-out if required. This Receiver will not work with Line Lasers even if they have pulse mode, due to the pulse mode of a line laser being a different frequency to what this Receiver can detect.
