What is Laser Machine Automation?

Laser Earthmoving Machine Automation is setting up a blade/implement to be controlled by a laser to do height adjustments automatically.

Laser Earthmoving Automation systems consist of:

– a red-beam Rotating Laser

– a machine Mounted Receiver

– an in-cab Control Box

– Hydraulic Components that control the hydraulic ram(s) that move the inplement up & down

How does Laser Machine Automation work?

Laser Earthmoving Automation Systems work by setting a rotating laser on grade or level – and then the Machine Receiver detects the height of the laser signal and the blade will move up or down relative to where level is.

Automation Systems can be set up in two ways – single receiver systems or dual receiver systems.

Single Receiver systems are generally chosen for inplements/blades with one Hydraulic Ram. They can also be used for two Hydraulic Rams, with both rams moving in tandem with each other.

Dual Receiver systems are designed for inplements/blades with two Hydraulic Rams with both rams moving independently to each other.
