RedBack Lasers’ NEW LR718 Rotating Laser Receiver is suitable for both Red & Green Rotating Lasers. The LR718 features 2 large LCD displays, one at the front and one at the back.  These provide an indication of the rotating laser beam being above or below level.  This display is progressive , in that, it indicates as you move the receiver closer to the level line height.  A single line is shown and a solid tone sounded when the receiver is on level with the laser.  The LR718 features 3 separate audible sounds for above, below and on level which can be turned off if required.

Accuracy

The RedBack LR718 also features an accuracy setting, default is fine at 1mm level band, mid 3mm and coarse is a 5mm level band.  So, for fine work keep the receiver on the default 1mm accuracy setting and coarse levelling select either the 3mm or 5mm level band.

The receiver has an auto power off function.  This powers down the receiver after 10 minutes of inactivity, thus, saving battery.

The LR718 is powered by a 2 x AA Batteries (included) and comes with a durable staff clamp.

The receiver made tough with durable plastic and rubber to protect from damage when dropped.  Working in rain is not a problem as the receiver is also weather sealed.

RedBack Lasers LR718 also features magnets on the top and side handy for when you are levelling steel frame work or suspended ceilings.

The LR718 receiver is ideal for any red or green rotating laser level and would be a great option to use with our EL614 Series of lasers for example.

Where to Use This Receiver…

Rotating Lasers are most commonly used outdoors for longer range applications like Building, Fencing, Concreting, Landscaping and more. The LR718 is a great receiver to use for outdoor work with a RedBack Rotating Laser, but can also be suitable for indoor applications like Tiling, Alignment, Fit-out if required. This Receiver will not work with Line Lasers even if they have pulse mode, due to the pulse mode of a line laser being a different frequency to what this Receiver can detect.
